The Idaho Potato Museum & Potato Station Cafe, located in Blackfoot, Idaho, showcases the history and cultivation of potatoes. However, it previously lacked a strong visual identity and narrative. To address this, I created a system that integrates the cultural significance of the potato into the museum’s visual language, emphasizing sophistication and exclusivity. This results in an intriguing contrast between a polished aesthetic and the humble, imperfect potato, renowned for its association with rustic agriculture, thus crafting a compelling narrative.
